Help me celebrate with a gift to Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick
Hey Guys! Today marks a huge milestone in my life. On this very date 18 years ago (2nd October 2002), I received the most valuable gift of all, my kidney. To celebrate this special occasion, I have decided to create a fundraiser for Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick, the place that raised me. Without the incredible support and generosity of the amazing medical staff of Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick, I would not be where I am today. Thanks to their help, they have made it possible for me to be proudly standing here today, along with my loved ones, to celebrate one of the most important events of my life. I cannot begin to express how profoundly grateful I am for all the countless hours of hard work, and dedication the Doctors and Nurses of Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick put into keeping not just me, but 69,000 sick children every year, alive and healthy. For all that, I really can’t thank you enough. From the bottom of my heart thank you all so much. My time spent at Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick will always be in my heart and dearest memories. There were many happy memories made there, as well as scary ones, but nonetheless, I will always cherish every single moment spent in this hospital. Thank You again, and trust that I will never forget the kind faces, the colourful art, the mystical fairy garden, that specific sanitizer smell, and even just the walls. All of these things that made my childhood truly unique and fascinating. I could never forget. So please friends and family, friends of friends, anyone who stumbles onto this post, I ask you to spare even just a few dollars to donate to such a deserving cause. It would mean the absolute world to me, and of course to the marvelous medical staff of Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick, and to the hundreds and thousands of critically ill children who are currently being raised and treated there each day. Thank You!
