I'm holding an event to raise funds for Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick!
I will be 40 this year and I couldn't imagine "celebrating" it with anyone else other than family and friends. I don't believe in age being a good measure of maturity or state of mind or happiness but I do believe in using these "milestones" to make A difference.
This year has been a tough one for family and I with our daughter being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) which made us change our lives ALL around (literally) but we are a resilient multicultural family who take things as they come and more importantly always aim to enjoy life to its fullest, no matter what! (doesn't mean we don't go through tough times and don't cry)
So this year, for my birthday, we will be having diner with family and friends on Saturday 7th of Dec, and raising funds for the Randwick Children's Hospital because they have been instrumental in keeping us a happy family even through the circumstances.
Whether you are able to join us for diner or simply donate to a good cause (consider this my birthday gift), I would like to thank you in advance for making a difference!
