Meet Australia's youngest Halo Hero

It’s sometimes difficult to imagine the thousands of sick kids you’re helping when you donate. Knowing your hard-earned dollars are making a real difference is so important. Especially now, when your budget may be tighter.

Every donation, big or small, is one step closer to a brighter future for sick kids like Kiveyn. Together, with your help, we can continue supporting their needs now and in the future.

Over the last 34 years, our donors’ incredible generosity has left a lasting footprint on the Hospitals' wards. Our recent installation of an EOS Imaging Suite (Funded by Sargents Pies Charitable Foundation) is no exception and will benefit thousands of sick kids for many years to come.

For three-year-old Kiveyn, his future is looking extra bright with access to this type of cutting-edge technology. As the youngest child in Australia to be fitted with a halo-gravity device, this special X-ray room is super spacious and will no doubt fit his new set of wheels.

Whilst his bubbly personality and cheeky grin would light up any room, life has been far from easy for the little boy. His unforgettable smile masks years of pain.

Born with serious curvature of the spine, Kiveyn has spent the majority of his life in a cast.
